Humanitarian and International Development Budget
The Global Partnership
for Effective Assistance campaign urges policymakers to provide additional
funding to seven existing accounts in the international affairs budget
emphasizing programs that build self-sufficiency- through basic education,
healthcare, job and business skills, reducing hunger, women and girls,
refugee and disaster response, and peace and democracy. The
graph below shows the budget levels for the past few years for the
following accounts:

working to ensure that the President, in partnership with the U.S.
