Air Serv International

Statement of Purpose

The Air Serv team uses aircraft and other appropriate technology for relief and development, restoring hope to the suffering.

Programs & Activities

Air Serv’s Aircraft Fleet
Air Serv owns and operates a variety of Beech King Air, Cessna, and DeHavilland Twin Otter aircraft to facilitate the humanitarian work of other relief and development agencies. Air Serv has the capacity to acquire other types of aircraft as needed to meet specific needs.

Management of Client-Owned Aircraft
Use of client-owned aircraft can significantly reduce the cost of operations. Air Serv provides full service management and operation of aircraft owned by other relief and development agencies. This includes sourcing of highly professional and motivated flight, maintenance, and support staff; the preservation of aircraft value; and control of total aviation department costs.

Commodity Airlift Operations
Small-scale airlifts are accommodated using Air Serv aircraft. Large operations require the use of larger cargo aircraft to meet mission requirements. Air Serv will select an appropriate aircraft for the specific mission and provide full airlift management of the operation at the least cost.

Logistics Support
Air Serv initiated a new initiative in 2001 to provide a wide range of logistical support for client agencies, including storage, maintenance and distribution of pre-positioned relief supplies, full-service air terminal operations for major relief efforts, and surface transportation solutions.

Safe, Reliable and Cost-effective Operations
Our primary objective is to provide safe, reliable and cost-effective air transport to agencies involved in relief and development. We specialize in single- and twin-engine operations in remote or transport-deficient areas within the affected country, and in management of airlifts of humanitarian relief supplies using larger aircraft. Our ability to operate in difficult environments is the result of a highly committed and trained team of professionals. Air Serv’s team is representative of the highest qualified aviation and support personnel from around the world.
