Weekly email Job Announcements:
InterAction offers a weekly email listing of extensive employment
and internship opportunities in the international development and assistance
field. You will receive approximately 25-30 job announcements each week
from US-based humanitarian and development organizations with positions
available in the United States and overseas.
A one-year subscription to the weekly job announcements would ordinarily
cost $85 for each individual. However, under the Institutional rate,
we offer colleges and universities unlimited access to redistribute the
list for only $400. Once you have only 5 students receiving the email
blast, you are already saving money.
Institutional Package
The Institutional Package combines the weekly email job announcement
list with several other valuable publications. You'll receive a copy
of our Member Profiles, Global Works and a yearly subscription to our
bi-weekly newsletter, Monday Developments, for $525. For $725 you'd receive
the aforementioned package as well as an additional 4 subscriptions to
Monday Developments.
Monday Developments:
This bi-weekly newsletter provides in-depth news and commentary
on global trends that affect relief, refugee and development work. It
carries the latest information on work InterAction members are doing
around the world and keeps readers up-to-date on action in Congress that
could affect US foreign assistance to developing nations. Monday Developments
also describes new resources for relief and development workers, training
opportunities, coming events and international employment openings.
Member Profiles 2004/2005:
Detailed information on over 160 private voluntary organizations.
Member Profiles 2004-2005 provides a detailed portrait of US-based nongovernmental
organizations working in international development, disaster relief and
refugee assistance. The directory comes with a companion CD-ROM that
is fully searchable and gives users the ability to download information.
2004 Global Work: Ways
to donate your time and skills while gaining valuable international experience.
Global Work lists volunteer, internship, and fellowship opportunities
in international development abroad. This guide provides extensive volunteer
opportunities from nearly 100 organizations working in 120 countries,
including the United States. The guide also lists contact information
for more information on volunteer work. A geographic and program index
helps guide readers with specific interests.
