InterAction Welcomes Nine New Members

In early June, InterAction welcomed nine new members into our coalition. These members represent a wide range of work within the international development and humanitarian sectors, bringing knowledge and expertise on issues ranging from health and wellness to data, civilian protection to poverty alleviation.  These organizations embody the shared principles amongst the membership and are welcomed additions to the InterAction community.

A huge welcome to the following new members:

American Relief Coalition for Syria: The mission of ARCS is to be a voice for US-based Syrian diaspora organizations who are providing humanitarian and development services for Syrians worldwide, through advocacy and empowering local humanitarian actors. ARCS serves as an impetus for positive change, social welfare, and progress through serving as a platform for coordination and organizational development.

BOMA Project: Empower women in the drylands of Africa to establish sustainable livelihoods, build resilient families, graduate from extreme poverty, and catalyze change in their rural communities.

Cadasta Foundation: Cadasta was created to support the documentation of land and resource rights to build stronger, more sustainable communities.

Cross International: We mobilize the global Church to transform the poor and their community materially and spiritually for the glory of Jesus Christ.

Engineers Without Borders – USA: EWB-USA builds a better world through engineering projects that empower communities to meet their basic human needs and equip leaders to solve the world’s most pressing challenges.

Holt International: As an organization founded on Christian principles, we stand committed to expressing God’s compassion for children and we work toward our vision by providing individualized, child-focused services in three main program areas: family strengthening orphaned and vulnerable children care, and adoption services.

Islamic Medical Association of North America (IMANA): IMANA strives towards a world in which the wellness and health care of all people are served by the American Muslim community.

MAG America: MAG America’s vision is a safe and secure future for men, women, and children affected by armed violence and conflict.

Notre Dame Initiative for Global Development: The University of Notre Dame Initiative for Global Development (NDIGD) promotes human development and dignity among people worldwide through applied innovations, impact evaluation, education and training that help build just and equitable societies. It is an integral part of Notre Dame’s new Keough School of Global Affairs.
