Sudan's civil war, which erupted in April 2023 between the Sudanese Armed Forces and Rapid Support Forces, has devastated the nation, causing thousands of deaths and forcing millions to flee their homes amid widespread violence and destruction.
Over half of Sudan's population urgently needs humanitarian aid, with eight million people forced from their homes in a crisis that threatens to destabilize the entire region.
