In New Podcast, InterAction CEO Shares Insights on Response to Current Humanitarian Crises

In a recent podcast, InterAction CEO Sam Worthington sat down with Lawrence Michel, Crown Agents USA CEO, to discuss the increasing number of crises around the world, and how the humanitarian community is responding.

Worthington shared his thoughts on the unpresented scale of today’s humanitarian crises, noting that the gap between current needs and what the humanitarian system can currently deliver is increasing.

“The [humanitarian] system that we have was not build for the future nor is it adequate for our current challenges,” said Worthington. “We need not only minor reform, but substantive changes in the nature of how we approach these problems.”
