InterAction Welcomes Five New Members

In late December, InterAction welcomed five new members into our coalition. These members represent a wide range of work within the international development and humanitarian sectors, bringing knowledge and expertise on issues ranging from human rights to data, civilian protection to poverty alleviation.  These organizations embody the shared principles amongst the membership and are welcomed additions to the InterAction community.

A huge welcome to the following new members:

Asylum Access: Our mission is to make human rights a reality for refugees. We focus on Africa, Asia and Latin America because most of the world’s refugees remain in these regions.

CIVIC: Our mission is to work with armed actors and civilians in conflict to develop and implement solutions to prevent, mitigate and respond to civilian harm.

Development Gateway: Development Gateway (DG) provides data and digital solutions for international development. DG is focused on turning data into action, aiming to empower development agencies, governments, and citizens with the information and tools they need to make an impact. Through a combination of global advisory services, data analysis, and technology solutions, DG makes development easier to gather, access, use, and understand.

Food for the Hungry :Food for the Hungry seeks to end ALL forms of human poverty by going into the hard places and closely walking with the world’s most vulnerable people. We have been serving through purposeful relief and development for over four decades. We believe in fighting against poverty, which is why we serve the vulnerable in over 20 countries globally. We’re moved and inspired by our Christian belief that every person has intrinsic value and that it’s our responsibility to advocate for the poor and marginalized without regard to race, creed or nationality and without adverse distinction of any kind. We serve without stipulation or expectation and on the basis of need alone. We strive to respect the culture and customs of the people we serve in order to preserve their humanity and dignity.

Mercy Without Limits : Our Mission is to educate and empower women and children by enabling them to have an effective and positive role in constructing a better society.
