MEMBER CEOS ONLY: Earth Day Conversation on the President’s Emergency Plan for Adaptation and Resilience (PREPARE)

A panel discussion on Earth Day between four of the core agencies involved in the PREPARE Initiative. We will be joined by representatives from:

• The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)
• The Department of State
• The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC)
• The Department of Treasury

In response to the severe and urgent climate crisis, President Biden unveiled the PREPARE initiative during last year’s COP26. The main goal of PREPARE is to provide support for developing countries and vulnerable communities to help them continue adapting and managing climate change impacts. During the panel discussion, participants will discuss these agencies’ involvement in this whole-of-government approach, as well as details on the progress of its implementation.
