Risk Sharing Framework Simulation Outcome Report Briefing (Session I)
InterAction, with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, conducted a simulation of the Risk Sharing Framework in November 2023.
The Risk Sharing Framework provides a basis for humanitarian actors to pursue risk sharing as a means to enable more effective delivery of support to affected people.
This exercise offered the opportunity to test the framework using common scenarios and roles within the humanitarian delivery chain, enabling space for organizational self-reflection and risk identification, while ensuring the framework is fit for purpose. As a result, InterAction has created a Risk Sharing Framework Simulation Outcome Report to share lessons learned, best practices, and supportive insights to those wishing to deploy the framework.
This briefing will share the findings of that report. A second session will be held on Thursday, January 25 from 5:00 a.m. – 6:30 a.m. EST to accommodate those in different time zones.
If you are interested in joining either session, please contact Sophie Gillman.
