Sara Franks

Sara is the Event and Meetings Coordinator at InterAction, where she organizes and implements InterActions’ events and annual meetings.

In her previous roles, Sara has worked with non-profits, think tanks, and Fortune 500 companies. Sara’s experience with convenings has included events with Heads of State, Ambassadors, and many leaders in the public and private sectors.

Before her time at InterAction, Sara served as an Associate at Laurel Strategies, a strategic advisory firm for global CEOs. While at Laurel Strategies, Sara produced a SiriusXM show, organized event logistics at convenings such as the World Economic Forum, and managed internal and external communications for the firm.

Additionally, Sara is passionate about international diplomacy and has experiences with prestigious international organizations such as the Fulbright Association.

Sara graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs with a concentration in Conflict Resolution and Peace Studies from The George Washington University.

In her free time, Sara enjoys traveling, being outside, spending time with dogs and teaching yoga.
